
What better way to learn of other cultures than via the cuisine? We'll wander local markets together and learn of ingredients in places like Chatuchuak Park in Bangkok, Mekong River Morning in Luang Prabang, Islington in London, San Lorenzo market in Florence and Thiruvananthapuram (TV) morning market in Kerela, just to name a few. We'll look over the shoulder and learn from some of the best cooks in the world, ranging from a grandmother (Ya-Ya) doing it the olde world way in Kalamos, Greece, or Nai-Nai (grandmother in Chinese) in Chao zhou, to the top chefs in shiny modern kitchens from Singapore to Istanbul.
