Hello, my name is Eugene Telan. I am an American-born Filipino, and I enjoy cooking. When I was a little boy, I watched my mother and father cook with love in our kitchen. I would sit at the table and watch them throw flavors together. Mom would embed in my head that Filipino cooking is all about taste, 90% to be exact! I was inspired by food to create this video blog to express and share my unique heritage. These videos are primarily for the intermediate cooker and the busy working-class family; Filipino recipes will be the focus. Many dishes can be made with children, so grab the kids and get ready to watch. It would be helpful to also grab a pen and paper to write down ingredients. I will show you how to prepare dishes within 25 minutes. So, sit back and relax while I take you on a culinary journey to far Southeast Asia.
