Devaleena

I am a student of English literature. Apparently food has nothing to do with literature, but my appetite for food of mind led me to venture further. And i have seen ranging from Chaucer to Shakespeare, Flaubert to Pamuk, Rushdie to naipaul, how choice of food also reflects human mind, and not merely his or her cultural background, but also even a great writer like Shakespeare has shown that there are much politics involved from "Fugitive feasts to Furtive Fasts" which is a recent published paper of mine in World Shakespeare conference. Like everyhting in life, eating has its own place in life, and food becomes delicious not only by its taste, but also determined by the occasion in which it is eaten, with whom and of course how.
