My interest in food began early as a child cooking with my parents and having family meals. For me, food became a way to create memories and traditions with others. It was a way to explore new places and meet people of different backgrounds. I enjoyed how food connected people from all walks of life. This interest grew as a passion for the art of cooking when I became part of the family business, Bistro By The Sea, in southern Rhode Island.
At Bistro By The Sea I was able to further working on the craft of cooking and experimenting with different recipes. As I began to find some of what I felt were the best recipes, I wanted to find a way to share what I’ve learned and discovered with other people.
