I'm with you MA if the fresh ones don't look good I go for the tubed ones. They're not great but work in a pinch. I like the idea of the frozen ones - but like you said Steve there's nothing like fresh. I'm pretty far north here in Florida but we can grow just about any herbs here. I don't but Tina is full of them. When I'm out I usually run over to her house and grab what I need. She has more basil than any one person should have, thyme, oregano, sage, rosemary, mint and a hand full of others I can't think of. I've been thinking about setting up a hydroponic herb garden here in the house but haven't committed to it yet...
