I adore Kerela and have been fortunate to spend a lot of time there on both business and pleasure. I usually stay in Kochi then on to friends and work in Aleppy. The backwaters are heaven to glide along and relax, the seafood is exceptional. Infact the number one business in Kochi is exporting shrimp and number 2 is coir which is the industry that oft takes me there. In fact I was awarded an award by the Coir Board for R & D!
