I am so happy I found this recipe. I made it at least 15 years ago and copied the recipe but it has since faded and is hard to read. It is exactly the same recipe though. I remember it was delicious! I was in Saudi Arabia at the time and was able to use dates from a nearby oasis. I am told they are the best dates in the world. Luckily, someone sent me a package of those same dates. I look forward to baking it again!!
