Sorry calories and quantity do make a difference. Healthy balanced eating including dairy, protein, grains, veggies, and fruits with good fiber and drinking a lot of water is key.
Yes eating 3 meals and two or 3 snacks keeps your metabolism going and your body doesn't go in to starvation mode, BUT and it is a very big BUT what you eat and how much is VERY important. Eating healthy, portion control, drinking plenty of water, and getting regular exercise makes for slim, trim and fit healthy bodies.
If what you say is true all those fast food grazers would be skinny VBG
