I tried this tonight but changed it up a little bit. I sprayed the pan with non-stick spray, crumbled tater tots, lined a 13x9in pan instead of pie pan, then took the butter/corn flakes mix and then lined the tater tots with the corn flake mix. (I had to make more mix)Prior to this I boiled the potatoes and made mashed potatoes with sour cream, butter, 1 Tbsp of milk, and 1 can of corn. I mixed 2 lbs of raw beef with 2 eggs, 1/4 medium sized diced onion, a small amount of finely chopped green and red peppers, chopped celery, 1 cup oatmeal and 1/3 cup Italian bread crumbs. I added such spices and herbs such as seasoned salt, parsley, basil, oregano, salt, pepper, garlic salt, and onion powder. I combined the mashed potatoes with the raw meat mixture and scooped it onto the corn flake lining. I baked at 350 F for 45 minutes in the middle of the oven and then added shredded cheese to half of the top. To the top of both sides I added another layer of crumbled tater tots and to the side with cheese, I added more. This was baked close to the top of the oven now for 15 minutes and let cool and enjoyed. Some of my friends used toppings such as ketchup and hot sauce. I am sorry that not everything has measurements, I did not measure everything and eyeballed the amount I felt was needed.
