This reminds me of an Indian festival called Kartik Purnima which is celebrated around the same time of the year, in November, when people make boats containing lamp float in water. They pray the moon god. Its fascinating to realize that no matter what the nationality or religion our practices are essentially the same. But then why this intolerance and conflict in this world then?
