Yogurt – A Nutritional Goldmine

Yogurt is not only used as an appetizer or a food accompaniment or a dessert, it is also packed with vitamins and microscopic warriors, which is beneficial bacteria. These bacteria are a must for good health. It is especially useful for women, to fight against osteoporosis which is a serious health problem.
There are many calcium supplements that are not effectively absorbed and yogurt provides an excellent source of easily-absorbed calcium. It is always better to make yogurt at home to get the maximum beneficial bacteria. You must always keep it cold, as the helpful bacteria in yogurt cannot withstand high temperatures.
