Winter Is On; Watch Your Figure Baby!

The thought of getting out of warm quilts and coming face-to-face with the ice-dripping chillness outside is more like a bad daydream on winter mornings. Now, pulling on your jogging rigs for the early morning workouts are worse to even think! Ah, baby, my svelte figure, the fruit of my sweat and effort for months and years together is sure to go for a six! 

For the figure-conscious lot, watch-out this winter season, else your efforts to go fit and slim will all go down the drain! 

A lot of the hormones and chemicals that put your brain to a vigorous mood almost lower their activities considerably, if not completely dormant, during winter. Now the result is even bad than what you can even think of – your body says a BIG NO to such strenuous activities like workouts, energetic actions, dynamic well-being etc. 

That’s not all! Above all, even by doing nothing, your body craves for more food, surprisingly in the form of carbohydrates, something you must have long evicted out of your diet for the rest of the season – but not to be blamed, as the system needs it to keep its defense mechanism warm. So better train your hands to not to reach for such comfort foods like chocolates, milk-coffee and more! 

What’s more? To add on to this, those extra calories you carefully and willingly denied for the rest of the months are unknowingly piled up again with those annoying junk-foods you swallow! 

So try beating this winter so that it doesn’t harm your well carved body. If you can be choosy all round the year, why not for a couple of month more! Train your mind and your brain and keep watching your figure – see that it doesn’t blow out of proportion!
