Wine tasting sessions seem to be the current flavor of the country. Local and International wine companies alike are looking at increasing their businesses by way of advertising their products through wine tasting events. One such event was conducted at the recently held International Food & Drink Expo, New Delhi.

Mr. Sanjay Menon, who happens to be India’s first certified trainer for Bordeaux wines hosted a Bordeaux wine tasting event paired with an educational presentation on wines from the same region. The presentation was tad too long but informational, nonetheless. Mr. Menon explained the different varietals of Bordeaux and the famous wines produced there which make the area the most sought after wine region on the world wine map. Wines offered for tasting were 2 whites and 2 reds all from 2007 onwards batch.

The ‘meant for only media’ event was organized by Sopexa and was the first of its kind chaired by a accredited trainer of L’Ecole du Vin de Bordeaux, from where Mr Menon received his training.
