Rachel Klemek, a well known baker, started using this flour made out of left over grape skins from a winery and to everyone’s delight recipes like pasta, pizza and brownies came out more rich and delicious. Her baked items made out of wine flour became so popular that she eventually launched a store to sell wine flour, it is sold under the brand name Marché Noir. She also sells brownies and dry pasta made with wine flour in stores as well as online. So there is no doubt that wine flour adds kick to foods. You can also start using this taste enhancing flour to give a touch of excitement to your cooking.

 

Wine flour is a produced from the winery waste, which is discarded grape skin. It blends well in all purpose flour, semolina flours and cake mix with ease to impart a fruity aromatic flavor to dish. Pork Tenderloin with Wine Flour
Cover one side of seasoned pork with wine flour and microwave the same side by placing the pieces in an oiled pan. Cook on the other side after two minutes and glaze the dish with wine.

 

Lamb Rissoles

Take finely diced shallots, chopped fresh parsley and mint leaves, mustard, salt, black pepper, splash of soya sauce and one egg in a large bowl. Mix all ingredients with hand and add minced lamb to it. Sprinkle enough wine flour to bind all ingredients and make flat round shapes.

First cook them in a skillet and then place them in microwave for final cooking.
