Why Are Protein Bars Better Than Chocolate
Show me one girl who is comfortable with the way she looks, and I promise I will never mention the word diet again, but until then, hear me out. I recently read somewhere that protein bars are better than chocolates, especially if you are looking at some serious weight loss.
Now I do understand that when it comes to taste the protein bar v/s chocolate battle is a loosing one. The first bite will tell you the difference because one is a poor substitute for the other. Keep at it, and you might get used to it pretty soon. In our minds, chocolate is that item that is the height of sinful pleasure and a tall luxury.
The pros and cons
Studies have now proved that indulging in chocolate might not always be good for you. So the next time you feel the need to munch on something, think protein bars are better than chocolate. Once your taste buds gets adjusted to the flavours of the protein bars you will have a whole new answer to the question of protein bars v/s chocolate. Plus, this is a wonderful thing to be munching on after a long work out session.
The next time you reach out for a bar of chocolate to give you instant energy with the sugar level present in it, opt for the protein bar instead. This is because the saturated fat will create a negative impact instead of a positive one. So always remember the formula, protein bars are better than chocolate. And trust me when I say that the protein bar will give you the same satisfaction and energy as chocolate once you have had this.
Calorie Less
In the battle of the protein bar v/s chocolate one has to also say that the protein bars lack a lot of calories and will help during diet. They also have a very limited number of carbs so they are good for both the muscles and the fitness.
Another reason why protein bars are better than chocolate is because they will fill you up real fast unlike chocolates which will leave you asking for more. I have always thought that the protein bar v/s chocolate is going to be a loosing battle in my case, but after about three months of tough control, I can now go through days without chocolates. Instead i now savor the taste of the protein bars, knowing full well that they will assist me in my weight loss program. I can now say with proven authority that protein bars are better than chocolate.
