I often wonder what makes the Whitney Pot Diet so special; after all it has helped super slender star from the American reality series; The Hills, wheigh just about 8 stones at a height of 5'10”. Does she have a natually high metabolism? Apparently not. This 25 year old has apparently gone on extreme measures to keep her thin frame. In recent times, her diet habits seem to have caught the attention of the media who were quick to label it as 'extreme'. Why is it so? Let's take a look at the Whitney Port diet to know why.

Whitney Port is probably one of the few actresses who openly accept that there is a lot of pressure on them to look a 'certain' way. Last year, she revealed that she was on a 1000 calorie or less diet to maintain her svelte figure. The media aptly dubbed it as the 'starvation diet'. People who are reading this article, do not even think of doing something this crazy extreme.
This year, she is again in the news for going on a 3 day Juice cleanse diet. This diet is apparently to cleanse out the system and the dieter gets to have 6 juices a day. In her blog, Whitney Port explained her diet by saying that it is to cleanse her system of the unhealthy foods that she has been having in the recent times. She does not have a great diet regimen; she loves French fries, pizza, gummy bears, peanut brittle, chips, dips, excess wine, et al. She has also admitted that she loves bread and that it is her greatest vice.
It is not that she is unware of her eating habits, she just seems to give in to the junk food pleasures like many of us. However, she does try to eat in moderation. She says, “Sometimes I’ll eat so fast, I won’t even realize how much I’m eating. The key is to eat slow, and make sure you’re not eating past your satisfaction limit.”
When it comes to working out, she tries to hit the gym three times a week. She likes to walk on the threadmill and does some minimal weight training. When she doesn't make it to the gym, she goes for a walk outside or does some push-ups and sit-ups in her apartment.

Do not go on crazy diets. Find what is your ideal body weight and try achieving it through healthy eating and regular exercising. We are all human and at times we do crave for junk food. So the key is to eat in minimal amounts. And before I forget, drink plenty of water to keep your system clean.
