Reports are floating around saying Wal-Mart executives fleeced White House. Now, how can this happen? US First Lady Michelle Obama launched a campaign against childhood obesity. The Let's Move program aims to tackle obesity among children in a serious mood.

In line with the program, Wal-Mart recently announced its ambitious 5-Year Health Plan. Under the plan, Wal-Mart plans to reduce sodium, sugar and Trans fats in its products, and provide better accessibility of healthy food to all.

Now, the experts believe that Wal-Mart executives fleeced White House with the plan. Wal-Mart literally bought over the White House in launching Obama’s campaign and then their plan.

Legal experts wonder as how the White House endorsed a deal with the Wal-Mart. This raised many question on the industry and government role in the food and nutrition policy of the country.

They question that why meaningful laws are applicable only to Wal-Mart not to other food corporations is one among the various questions on White House fleeced by Wal-Mart executives floating around.

Another question on Wal-Mart executives fleeced White House is announcing the policy before implementation. Experts say companies are known to make and break policies. Why did Michelle not think about this?

Blank promises

Here are a few examples of companies not implementing their promises. Mc Donald’s promise of reducing Trans fats has yet to be achieved. Even Ruby Tuesday has to yet put up nutrition facts on its menus.

Legal experts say that Wal-Mart executives fleeced the White House for their own benefit. They got huge publicity. Wal-Mart set such voluntary campaign as it can avoid government regulations. This is again an example of White House fleeced by food corporation for their gain.

Even the time frame of the program has come under scrutiny. Experts dealing with Wal-Mart executives fleeced White House incident want to know the monitoring methods for the policy.

Sadly, even the media failed to highlight such issues. If such deals can be done secretly, then food corporations need not worry about stringent regulations. One cannot rule out the fact that there will not be another ‘Wal-Mart executives fleeced White House’ incident.
