Many of us do not care what we are eating, how much we are eating and as such we develop many unhealthy eating habits.
 

The food which we eat influences how we feel and how we look and they can affect our health. Healthy foods contain vitamins, proteins, carbohydrates along with other vital minerals. The food which we are eating now can result in good or bad health in the future. Unhealthy foods might satisfy our hunger, but they can cause many side effects in the long run.

Effects of unhealthy eating:
 

Heart disease: Fat is very required by our body. But if we eat fat rich foods in excessive amount, it might be health hazardous. There are more chances of having heart related diseases on consuming excessive amount of fatty foods. Avoid eating junk foods and deep-fried foods.
 

Obesity: Obesity is quite common these days. There are many foods which are high in calories such as cakes and pastries. These high caloric foods can contribute to obesity – which can also increase heart disease risk. Obesity can also lead health problems regardless of age.
 

Diabetes: Eating foods high in sugar not only makes you fat but also increases the risk of type 2 diabetes. This happens because your body stores the excess sugar you eat and this sugar is converted into fat. Simultaneously your hormone blood insulin level also gets raised due to high sugar consumption. This insulin in your bloodstream can damage your artery walls too.
 

In order to avoid unhealthy effects in the long run, make sure to eat healthy foods. Avoid eating foods which might cause health problems. Always eat the foods which are fresh and try to include lots of fruits and vegetables in your diet. Opt for lean meat and fish in your diet instead of fatty meats. Oil is very important for keeping a good health. Use the vegetable oils which contain healthy polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fats but not saturated fats.
 

The consequence of eating unhealthy foods is scary. Hopefully you will be able to escape from the bonds of harmful foods.
