When it is cooked, it becomes very soft and creamy, making it a good base for a lot of dishes.   • Honey Baked Ham - The grand South cannot do without Ham. It is a common sight during occasions like Christmas to see a 8 pound ham roasting in the oven. The honey glazed ham is usually served with potato salad or at times with cornbread.          

                                                                 

  • Blackberry Cobbler - The blackberry is a common fruit of the South. It is a common ingredient in cakes, pies, ice creams and cobblers.
