A healthy body needs a healthy balanced diet. Hence it is important that our daily food should contain all required nutrients. Since every food has different nutrition, consuming a wide variety of foods will ensure we get a balanced nutrition. I am glad to share my list of top 10 foods to eat everyday that will supply all required nutrition required for a healthy body.

1. Whole grains: Whole grains have all the nutrition while polished grains have only 10% of nutrients left in it. Quinoa, whole oats and brown rice are the best. Choose whole wheat or brown breads instead of normal ones.

2. Green leaves: Green leaves help prevent diabetes and regulate high blood pressure. Ensure you include any one green leaf variety in your daily diet.

3. Nuts: Nuts are rich in fiber and good source of Omega3. While fiber helps keep hunger at bay, Omega 3 saves our coronary arteries from blocking.

4. Yogurt: Yogurts are probiotic that ease digestion. They contain all the goodness of dairy products like protein and calcium. Select fat-free yogurt and you may have seven different flavors in a week to add variety to daily diet.

5. Beans: All varieties of beans are rich source of proteins. Proteins are building blocks of our body. They help heal wounds and in improving cognitive functions of brain. Choose a different bean everyday to break monotony.

6. Vegetables: Every vegetable has a different nutrient. Each one helps keep a particular disease at bay. Two servings of vegetables per day is highly recommended. Carrots protect us from cancers and tomatoes are rich in antioxidants that prevent diseases of lungs, stomach, skin, bladder and many more. They also save us from coronary diseases to ceratin extent.

7. Berries: Berries are like supplements packed in a small tablet. There is loads and loads of anti-oxidants, fiber, phytonutrients, water and low in calories. Add blueberries and cranberries in salads, yoghurt, desserts and baked foods or just eat them.

8. OrangesOranges are rich in antioxidants. They help prevent many types of cancers.

9. Eggs: Eggs are full of quality proteins, versatile in use, economical and easy to store. They can be eaten anytime of the day.

10. Broccoli: Broccoli are packed with Vitamin K that keeps your bones strong and prevent bone related diseases like arthritis. They also contain Vitamin A and C. Roast them, steam them or bake them but eat them daily.
