Do not resist yourself from the impressive and tempting desserts Christmas season brings with it. Here are my Top 10 Favorite Holiday Desserts that you can easily make at home and enjoy them this holiday.

Cheesecake: Every single bite of cheesecake is lip-smacking, as it is one of the most-loved holiday desserts. Try black and white choco cheesecake, which is made with a combination of dark chocolate and cheese.

Mexican Fried Ice Cream: As delicious as its name. In this dessert, the ice cream balls are rolled in some crispy mixture and are deep-fried. Serve immediately for best results. This is an all-time favorite dish among kids as well as adults.

Apple Dumplings: No doubt it is the simplest dessert made with just five ingredients – sugar, egg, cinnamon, frozen puff-pastry and delicious golden apples. They maintain their shape well during baking and are best natural desserts.

Cranberry Apple Raisin Crisp: Rich contrast of textures and flavors make this dish a perfect dessert nobody could ever resist. This comforting winter dessert is served warm with ice cream.

Bananas Foster: Flavored with cinnamon, this winter dessert is made by cooking bananas very carefully. Pour rum in the end and serve with ice cream.

Cherries Poached with Mascarpone Cream: Poach cherries and swap them with mixed berries, or simply whip them with cream to give a yummy end to your holiday meal.

Chocolate Brown-Sugar Brownies: Make less sweet and more tender chocolate-brown sugar brownies with walnuts this Christmas to give your guests a break from traditional sugar cookies.

Poached Pears with Prunes: The pears and prunes are widely praised at this time of the year particularly. This warm dessert is poached in citrus-and spice-infused water, while a syrup is poured on the fruit in the end for a final flavor.

Popcorn Cake: One of the kids’ favorite, popcorn cake, is made with all kids’ stuff - marshmallows, gumdrops, chocolate-covered peanuts, candy-coated milk chocolate pieces, butter and popcorns. Eat it the day you make it for best results.

Plum Compote with Star Anise: The plum compote is one of the easiest desserts and can be made in just 20 minutes. Serve it with the pound cake, made at home or bought from store and give your evening meal a delicious yet sophisticated end.
