1. Necessary equipment for baking: Ingredients (depending on the recipe), assorted trays, measuring ,cups,spoons, scales, whisk, baking pans and paper, mixing bowls, dough mixer, cooling rack.

2. Before baking pre-measure all the ingredients required for the recipe and do not over mix.

3. It is preferable to use a metal measuring cup for dry ingredients and for liquid ingredients go for a glass measuring cup.

4. A scientific baking technique demands for a dark while baking as it absorbs more heat than light colored . This also reduces the baking time.

5. Heat the oven before baking and always use a to keep an eye on the oven temperature.

6.  A proper baking technique follows the use of suitable sized non-sticking baking pans. If you plan to bake pies go for Glass pans.

7. It goes without saying that over or under mixing the ingredients will spoil the whole dish. So, carefully read and follow each mixing step in the recipe as each step has a purpose to serve.

8. Use fresh and good quality ingredients for baking and position the baking pans as near to center of oven.

9. Always wash fruits and vegetables used in the recipe and also before baking.
