Gaining weight is not a very easy task; it requires patience and discipline to diet as well as training. The world we live in is a very contradictory one. There are many people who put on weight effortlessly and yearn to lose their weight. On the other hand, there are many skinny people who find it challenging to gain weight in order to enhance their physical appearance. In this blog I have described few useful tips to gain weight without any pain. Come, let’s take a look:

 

 

Eat Calorie Dense Foods

 
In order to increase the weight, you can include calorie dense foods such as almonds, walnuts, pistachios or cashew nuts. You can also eat dates, dried figs, raisins and apricots.

 

Eat Frequently

 

Try to eat as frequently as possible. For example, you can consume 4-6 smaller meals or 3 meals and 3 snacks per day to provide a steady flow of nutrients for your muscles to grow.


 

Eat Weight-Gaining Foods

 

Protein is very necessary required for the muscle mass. Try to eat more protein rich foods such as fish, meats, nuts and dairy products. Milk is the best source of protein which should be consumed on the regular basis. You can also consume whey which is easily broken down into amino acids and absorbed into the bloodstream.


 

Exercise

 

Exercise is the best way to increase the weight in a balanced way. You can include squats and the bench press in your daily workout. For the optimal weight gain, it is best to do six to twelve reps per exercise.
 

 

Go to Bed early

 

Always try to go to your bed early. Going to bed early is very crucial to the development of your physique since this is the time where your body recovers fully from your workout.
 

Never try to increase the intake of junk food and fatty foods to gain weight. Try to eat calorie dense but nutritious food. The weight gaining diet should include high protein foods, high carbohydrate foods and healthy fats.

 

Here is given the example of weight gain diet.

 

Breakfast: In the breakfast, you can eat banana with milk or banana shake along with fruits, granola or nuts.
 

Lunch: In the lunch, you can take roti with daal, cottage cheese, chickpeas, black-eyed beans and lots of green vegetables.
 

Dinner: Follow the same style as that of lunch.
 

In between, you can eat yogurt, sandwich, fruit or salad.
 

Apply these useful and easy tips and you can find the tremendous change in your body weight very soon.
