Timeout Food AwardsBollywood stars shone down at the Timeout Food Awards 2011, which was held at Mumbai’s Taj Lands End hotel.

The venue itself is impressive enough to overshadow the event and those who are regulars there would vouch for this fact. The star-studded ceremony was co-hosted by former model Kamal Sidhu and TV host Yudi. Dev ‘D’ Stars Speak Out at the Awards Night

Kalki loves to gorge on all the street food items available in Delhi, whenever she visits the Indian capital for work or leisure. Her favorite street food is momos, kebabs, etc. Well, her claim that she is a foodie just like husband, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, is somewhat belied in the fact that she is as slim as can be. The ‘Dev D’ actor appeared to be in a playful mood at the awards night. When asked who, among her husband and her, was the better cook, to which she replied, “Mera cook sabse best hai!” (My cook is the best).

Her co-star in the critically acclaimed film, Abhay Deol, said, “Mujhe Italian food bahut pasand hai (I love Italian food very much).” However, the handsome hunk was not as forthcoming when asked to list his choice of cook in his family although he admitted that he was a big fan of “ghar ka khana” (home cooked food).

The Timout Food Awards have, year after year, honored successful establishments in the country for their exceptional service, food quality, and creative menus, and this year was no different. Watch all the action yourself in this video:
