America has been always known for introducing some of the craziest foods to the world. So, to celebrate the contribution of America in food, we have assembled a list of top ten food inventions by America. The food inventions by America are all very cheesy, fried and daring. So, this list of food is a perfect combination of taste, flavor and uniqueness.

1. Philly Cheesesteak
Philly cheesesteak has been introduced to the world by one of the most authentic American city of United States, Philadelphia. Known for using creepiest ingredients, Philly cheesesteak is very cheese and delicious. Philly cheesesteak is a type of sandwich that is made up of the freshest meat and cheese. The combination of cheese and thinly sliced rib-eye or top round is delectable. These cheesesteaks are extremely famous in cafeterias, and restaurants.
S’mores is a type of sandwich that is traditionally known as the campfire treat. Popular in United States and Canada, the name S’mores came by contracting two words, “some mores.” It is basically some roasted marshmallow and chocolates squeeze in between two pieces of graham cracker. This dessert is widely appreciated when served after dinner. It can be served as both after meal dessert and in between meal snack.
3. Cobb Salad
Invented by Ty Cobb’s first cousin, Robert H. Cobb, Cobb salad is known as being the part of the signature menu item of the Hollywood Brown Derby. This unique salad has been featured in many films and television ventures till date. Very easy to make, some of the ingredients required to make the delicious Cobb salad are lettuce, crisp bacon, tomato, roasted or boiled chicken breast, avocado, Roquefort cheese and hard-boiled egg.
4. Baked Alaska
Baked Alaska is a very popular dessert in America that is made up of ice creams, Christmas cake or sponge cake and meringue as toppings. The ice cream is placed on the pie dish that is lined using some sliced Christmas pudding or sponge cakes. It is further topped using meringue.
5. Buffalo Wing
The Buffalo wings are also known as hot wing, chicken wing or chicken wing section (drumette or flat). These are traditionally fried unbreaded and then coated in sauce. The traditional chicken wing sauce Buffalo-style was made up of vinegar-based cayenne pepper hot sauce and butter. These are traditionally served with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing.
