Taylor Swift Toasts Big Win With Sushi
After receiving the “Woman of the Year” honor at the Billboard Music Awards 2012, Country singer Taylor Swift’s next stop was the Yellowtail Japanese Restaurant & Lounge. She headed there with her family and a group of close friends to celebrate the honor. The Lounge, located at the Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas, is famous for some of the choicest Japanese dishes, dished out by Executive Chef Akira Back.
Seated at the terrace of the trendy eatery, Swift enjoyed a view of the hotel’s fountains while gorging upon Chef Back’s signature dishes. She sampled Baked Crab Hand Rolls, Kobe Short Ribs, Eggplant Skewers, Lobster Carpaccio, Yellowtail Serrano, Tuna Pizza, Kobe Beef Tataki, Duck Prosciutto, and Strawberry Rolls. Phew! That’s a lot of food but that doesn’t matter, especially with Taylor Swift in such a great mood.
It seems the Billboard honor had whipped up her appetite because after eating up such an elaborate menu, Swift and her dining companions even tasted sweet treats from the Fix Restaurant & Bar while discussing “Taylor’s big win” throughout the dinner.
The 22-year-old singer has already been placed as the top “Money Maker” for Billboard for the year 2012 with her earnings worth $35.7 million from her successful album “Speak Now” as well as her North American tour. With her earnings, she left behind performers like Lady Gaga, Bon Jovi, Kenny Chesney, and Celine Dion.
Taylor Swift sure has big appetite for everything, be it success or sushi! For that, she can even forget about her diet.
