I was just ready that NutriSystem made the top 25 of the fastest growing companies in the USA. I am just so surprise that people want to eat some food in a box.

What I am offering the people who buy my book Amazing 7 Minute Meals, are healthy, delicious, fresh made meals from all over the world, ready in 7 minutes or less.
No chemical preservatives, no high sodium due to lack of flavor, just honest flavors from herbs and spices, fresh ingredients and real meat, poultry, fish, seafood and veggies that are not overcooked and mushy.

I am also surprised when people join Jenny Craig and eat that food. It is so easy to prepare yummy tasty healthy foods in your own kitchen no matter what expierence you have cooking. It is a lifestyle change making healthy choices and eating smaller portions plus more exercise even walking. But we shouldn't be surprised considering many of these over-weight folks got there the easy way eating fast foodies-copious amounts of OVER-sized everything. How many people read about dieting while munching a bag of chips or a handful of chocolate chip cookies?

Hello Shantihhh, I totally agree with you. I was talking to this overweight gentleman about moderation, and eating healthy at a party. The only food available was pizza, so I took I small slice and some water. While we were talking, he 'inhaled' 4 big slices and washed them away with a few cokes. Yvonne

Why is it the really over weight folks are the ones walking down the street eating ice cream or sitting in a restaurant stuffing themselves on huge desserts?

It is soaring.... check it out NutriSystem Fastest-growing rank: 1 Get quote: NTRI 3-year average annual return: 244% Obesity may be a devastating epidemic for the American population - but it's also a tremendous business opportunity. Just look at weight-loss-products purveyor NutriSystem, whose stock topped our chart with a whopping 244% three-year average annual return. It also finished second in EPS, with a 433% average gain over that period (ending May 31, 2007). Sure, those triple-digit explosions can't continue - the law of large numbers has begun to kick in - but analysts expect a still-enticing 50% rise in EPS in 2007, followed by a 20% increase in 2008. And with the stock trading near its recent lows (12 times projected 2008 earnings), now is a good time to gobble up some shares. Once similar to Weight Watchers, NutriSystem reinvented itself after going into Chapter 11 in 1993. It's now an online operation that sells packaged meals in "programs" that contain 28 days' worth of food. The plans go easy on dieters, letting them enjoy tacos, pot roast, and "fudge graham bars." The company's direct-marketing model offers customers more anonymity and lower prices than conventional weight-loss centers. Effective marketing, new food programs set to launch next year, and expansion to Canada, Britain, Germany, Australia, and Japan should drive further gains. A few caveats: NutriSystem's shares have been volatile. Meanwhile, shareholders have worried that GlaxoSmithKline's new over-the-counter weight-loss drug, Alli, might eat into NutriSystem's sales growth. Also, NutriSystem's customer-acquisition costs are starting to climb. But the company's long-term prospects aren't tied to maintaining those stratospheric rates. It has a burgeoning database of former clients, a pool of serial dieters who can be wooed back at much lower cost than new customers The Tortilla Guy

Steve, I make the most delicious pizza on the grill: scrumptious, yummy, mouth watering, and healthy at the same time. When you try my pizza, you never will want to settle for less - Yvonne Stephens

When I do the food shows, I am selective what I try-I pass 99% of the candies and desserts-but I will stop for ice cream and some cheeses. If in doubt I don't go there, and most times I just split the bite with Steve! That way I can try more things for fewer calories and if he says don't bother I don't. He is slim and trim so that is a huge help-like having my own Royal Taster. LOL I do the same with wines-he tastes and knows if I will like it as I am VERY picky about my wine. If it's really good I take my own glass!
