Sugar- to make you happy

When you are low and down in the dumps, wish there was just this something that could actually pep you up. Yes, there are foods that can actually make you feel happy.
Sugar for instance, is one that can make you feel energetic and transport you back to the world of happiness. Chocolates are another shortcut to happiness. They have the effect of raising your blood sugar levels and thus, making you feel not only energetic but lifting your moods as well. Just take a bite of your favorite chocolate bar, a slice of chocolate cake or some dessert when you are feeling low lo and behold the difference is there for you to enjoy.
However, everything in moderation is fine. Do not try to achieve happiness in great measures as it can have adverse effects instead. A large amount of sugar can actually cause your sugar levels to fluctuate rapidly and can end up doing more harm than good. So its just a slice of cake that would do you good and not the entire cake in one go. Be happy J
