food fight results in felony chargesA food fight during lunch hour at school can be fun albeit the wastage of precious food. However, such an incident did not remain harmless for long this time as it resulted in a high school student being slapped with felony.

The ‘Horizon High School’ in Scottsdale, Arizona was the venue of a fierce and messy food fight early this year. Conner Floyd-Elsesser, the freshman was fed up with it and was about to return to his classroom when he was confronted by two teachers. The ensuing scuffle between the teachers and student brought in the police who charged Conner with felony. The student says that he had been in an defensive mode as his teachers had assaulted him physically. A poorly shot video is the only evidence which shows his teachers standing on top of him with Conner helplessly lying on the ground. The teachers, though, claim to have been attacked by the student. Although there has been no proof supporting their words.

The prosecutor charged Conner with aggravated assault of the teacher since the boy neither dmitted his fault nor was prepared to accept a diversion program. His attorney supported him saying, "Connor didn't do anything wrong. He didn't assault that teacher—in fact it's the opposite. So there was no reason to admit responsibility and therefore he wasn't going to participate in diversion." The family looks set to take this to the court now.

So, fighting with food isn’t really an option. Look where it got Conner! It’s best to eat and derive pleasure from food instead.
