Some Mexican Recipes for a Party
Mexican food is yummy, it’s healthy, and almost everyone loves salsas, beans, and tortillas; when hosting a party, you can never go wrong with a Mexican Fiesta. Need some Mexican recipes for a party, search no more; today, I am going to share some interesting Mexican party recipe ideas.
Beverage ideas: Tequilas can wait; say Holla to your guest with a shot Mojitos, Sangria, or even Margaritas. These lightly flavored drinks will set the mood of you party. For the more adventurous you could add some vodka to your Sangria Punch.
Botanas ! (Dips and Appetizers): Pair a lighter main course with some hot Mexican cheese fondue served with meatballs and tortillas. However, if you have planned an elaborate menu ahead, a simple platter of tortilla chips accompanied by some classic guacamole dip or if you have the skills go for the artichoke or 7 layered dip is enough to introduce your guest to the table you have spread out. Nacho with some salsa dip is a great idea too.
Main Course: Burritos, Enchiladas, Tacos, Quesadillas…. It’s easy to get carried away with Mexican main dishes. What can one do, each one can is so yummy, you feel like including them all! But one needs to restrain themselves. A make it yourself taco bar is a great idea for large Mexican fiestas. However, for the regular fare beef-bean taco casserole, black bean and green burrito, or chicken enchilada are good bet. Don’t forget to complete these delectable delights with some Mexican rice and salsa.
Desserts: Sign off in class with some mouth-watering homemade flan, or how about some traditional churros or coconut empanadas instead!

Whatever the menu you choose, remember to make the party table spread as colorful as possible, for color is was defines a Mexican fiesta the best. Decorate the venue with some lively piñatas, honeycomb balls, and streamers all in the Latin-American colors of bright red, yellow and orange.
