Scientists-Its Manmade Meat on our Agenda!

01-Dec-2009 by ifoodiee

Of all the things … Manmade meat!!! It is true! Scientists from Holland have grown meat in their laboratories. To PETA’s delight of course! They used the cells from a live pig and replicated its growth in Petri dish!! Imagine that..meat out of the Petri dish and on to your dinner table!!!

Manmade MEat

The 'in vitro' or cultured (pun intended) meat if marketed in the future can definitely reduce the killing of farm animals as well as the production of Global emissions from meat around the world. This might mean that we might have fewer of the PETA advertisements hanging around!!! Given that they have been inclined to sport barely dressed women...it might feel like a loss to many.

The scientist say it will not be long before we might get processed meat products like sausages on our dining table! Seems like the stuff of Science fiction..maybe someday we will get to buy the cells and have our own hi tech systems at home within which a small cell will  be replicated to become a ready-to-cook mass of meat in seconds!!!  But at the end of the day the P/BIG question is ….Will you eat the Manmade Meat? What do you think? Will it be tasty or plain yucky..or will you stick to the real thing? PETA members..we know what your answer is ..so the question is not for you but the majority here!!

Donna Miller says :

Processed, man-made anything (meat or otherwise) is not recognizable by the body as fuel. All the processed junk and GMO's we've unwittingly ingested so far have messed up multiple generations (I ate it, my kids live with it, as do my grand-kids) in the bodies, reproductive dormant cells and DNA of our very cell structure in our own bodies. No thanks! Man has made a mess of too much! Back to basic, organic, whole food so the body knows what to do with it! I'd go vegetarian before eating man-made meat!

Yes, Donna...quiet true..i believe that the the increased use of processed food also accounts for the increasing fall of immunity in the younger generation!!!....some day maybe our kids wont even know,.what good food really is..it falls upon us to stop that....
