First Lady

Is US first lady fat? Well, Rush Limbaugh certainly thinks so. This radio talk show host and the conservative political commentator recently let his listeners know that he thinks the US first lady fat. “Our first lady does not project the image of women that you might see on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, or of a woman Alex Rodriguez might date every six months or what have you,” Rush Limbaugh announced on broadcast recently.

Calling US first lady fat has left many of her fans and fashionistas searing. The editor-in-chief of Hollywood life, Bonnie Fuller lashed out at Rush in her recent column saying, “Rush, you're calling the pear-shaped US first lady fat? If so, you're saying a huge number of America's female population - also pear-shaped - are fat because they have curvaceous hips. Michelle's well toned arms have clearly not impressed you, but you probably wouldn't recognize a muscle unless it was right up in your face.” Is US first lady fat or not doesn’t seem to be the topic of debate here. It looks like Rush Limbaugh was ticked off my Michelle’s pet peeve of childhood obesity in the US. Probably Rush is just making a statement here that if Michelle wants to preach healthy eating she might as well practice it before she does it.

However, is US first lady fat? Well, compared to most Americans, she is not fat but she’s definitely not thin either. You could call Michelle Obama chunky or thick since ‘fat’ is a word you should reserve for many other Americans since majority of Americans are believed to be overweight. But if the BMI of Michelle Obama is measured, the result will be a measurement that is most likely to indicate that she’s overweight. If she works out on her lower abdomen and thighs, she could look far more stunning than she actually is. Nevertheless, what is important here is the US first lady seems very comfortable with the fact that she’s pear-shaped and thick built and that’s a very healthy approach. The key to confidence lies in accepting your body and dressing according to your size and shape, which Michelle does with panache.

Michelle is a clear success in this department. Even though calling US first lady fat may sound a bit farfetched, Michelle Obama has to concentrate more on her workout regime to maintain the gorgeousness she is blessed with.
