Reosons of food crises.

These days mostly countries are facing a critical problem, which are crises of food.

It’s not a minor problem, it’s a huge huge problem of world even its very dangerous.

Crises of   foods create many criminal activities.

The picture is clear, those civilization are rich and fulfill with grain & foods there crime rate is very low.

Other way those countries are facing food crises have a high crime rate, just like few

African countries.

There are many questions about this problem arises our mind, what are the reasons for the crises.

Hunger is the lack of rain these are the words of a local farmer from Chicualacuala, a small town situated in the South-west of Mozambique, when asked about the causes of food insecurity in the country.

he farmers are already facing a number of problems: irregular rainfall patterns; more frequent droughts; desertification and strong winds causing soil erosion and evaporation.

Increased temperatures are creating the conditions for the emergence of new crop and animal pests. Water for irrigation, livestock and domestic use is becoming even more scarce.

All of these climate change impacts may in turn result in low agricultural yields and crop failure, loss of livestock, increase in the incidence of diseases and eventually, further food insecurity.

The reason is simple, according to Barney Kay, general manager of the National Pig Association, who said last week that with feed costs jumping 70 percent in the past 18 months, "on average pig producers are now losing about 26 pounds ($50) on every pig they produce. This equates to an industry loss of $390 million. That is not sustainable."

Britain has not been self-sufficient in food for nearly 20 years. Last year it imported about one-third of its food, with an import bill of $40 billion. Most of this, just over two-thirds, came from its partners in the European Union.

There are three main reasons for the food crisis. The first is the old rule of supply and demand. There is more demand, not just from more mouths to feed but from the way that diets improve as people clamber out of poverty, and hundreds of millions of Chinese start wanting pork chops and hamburgers as well as rice. But while it takes 2 pounds of grain to produce 1 pound of chicken, 7 pounds of grain are needed to make 1 pound of beef. In 1962 there was just 8 pounds of meat in the average annual Chinese diet; by 2005 that figure was 80 pounds and rising. (The average Brit eats 160 pounds of meat a year, and the average American gets through 250 pounds a year.)

But there is a very important reason for the crises of foods ,that is spiritual reason.

All of us become thankless to GOD and ALLAH never likes thanklessness.

Allah  provided foods for Bani Israel. As per my knowledge Man-o-salwa is the other thing that was in the era of Hazrat Musa as described in Surah-e-Baqara and the khawan described in Surah-e-Maida contains seven Fish already prepared or something else and was stopped due to preservation as they are advised not to do so.
And Samreen you were right they preserve food. Thank you very much for pointing my attention on a very sensitive matter I will Inshsa Allah work on this and will provide if I got in this aspect.

The reference I am quoting (Surah Al Maida Ayahs 112 to 114) describes as the food was from Heaven and sent to the people of Issa (Alayhes Salam). The translation is below of the Ayahs is below:

112. When the disciples said, 'O Issa son of Maryam, will your Lord do, that He should sent us down a tray of food from the heaven? He said, 'fear Allah if you have faith.

113. They said, 'we wish that we may eat of it and our hearts may be satisfied and we may see with our own eyes that you spoke truth to as, and we may be witnesses thereof.'

114. Issa son of Maryam submitted, 'O Allah our Lord, 'sends down to us a tray of food from the heaven so that it may be an occasion of rejoicing for us, for the first and the last of us and a sign from You, and provide for us and you are the best of Providers.

115. Allah said, 'I send it down to you, now therefore whoso of you will commit infidelity, then undoubtedly. I shall torment him with a torment wherewith I shall not punish to anyone in the entire Universe.
