Gall bladder attack is very common. According to the American Gastroenterological Association, more than one million people in the US are diagnosed for gall bladder attack. People seldom realize that they have stones in their gall bladder. It is often mistaken to be a problem related to the digestive disorder.There has been a lot of research for getting relief from gall bladder attack. Studies have found certain foods prevent gall bladder attack.

Gall bladders are used to store bile enzymes until such a time that the digest fats are absorbed into the body. Gall bladder stones are made of calcium salts, bile pigments and cholesterol, which are part of the food we eat. They form into small stones and attack the gall bladder.  A gall bladder attack triggers intense pain, which lasts for some time. This is because the bile enzymes are prevented from absorbing the digest fats into the body.

Experts believe that there many healthy foods that aid in bringing relief from a gall balder attack.

Fiber rich foods: Foods with high fiber content is ideal to prevent a gall bladder attack. Fiber is known to remove waste from the digestive system. This helps in prevention of cholesterol from being stuck in the gall bladder. Eat more of vegetables such as peas, raw carrots, potatoes that are baked and broccoli. Dried figs are known for their fiber content and can prevent gall balder attack. Strawberries, blue berries, oranges, bananas and raisins are also high in fiber. Pastas, whole wheat breads, brown rice and enriched cereals are good source of fiber. Eat popcorn that is air popped for a relief from gall bladder attack.

Fatty Foods: Relief from gall bladder can be derived from dry fruits like almonds and pistachios. Additionally, consume low fat foods such as skim milk, whole-grain cereals and breads, steamed vegetables, soups that do not have cream and other fats in them and fruit juices. Also, say no to fries. Experts believe consuming fruits is better than drinking fruit juices.

Increase carbohydrates: Increase carbohydrate content in meals to prevent gall bladder attack. Supplement with more whole wheat breads and cereals, brown rice, bananas, grapefruit, apples, pears, melons and plums. While making juices of fruits avoid adding sugar. Drink them natural.

A daily diet with foods low in fats, high in carbohydrates and fiber will prevent gall bladder attack.
