Rachael Ray Diet

Rachael Ray, the Food Network's celebrity chef, loves food and loves life. As much as she loves food, she is in a good shape. Does she have any secret diet? Well, the Rachael Ray diet is actually a non-diet. She does not believe in dieting and she does not promote them either. So, how does this Emmy winning daytime TV chef manage to stay in such good shape? Let's analyze that..
The Rachael Ray Diet or Rather The Rachael Ray Non-Diet
Rachel Ray states that she has not stepped on a weighing scale since she was a child and she is not pressurizing herself to look skinny. Being on a non-diet might actually does allow the person to eat whatever they want, but that doesn't mean that one can binge. It needs a lot of common-sense.
So here is what a typical non-dieter should be aware of.
1) Make peace with your body. Understand what it means to have 'your perfect body'. Do not try to fit into the stereotyped body shapes.
2) Do not over eat anything. Eating in moderation is the key.
3) Listen to your body and listen very carefully. See how your body is reacting to certain types of food. Are certain foods fattening you up and are certain foods bloating you up? These are some of the typical questions that you need to ask yourself every now and then.
4) Food is not an excuse for emotional issues. Do not eat because you have nothing else to do. Do not eat when you are not hungry.
5) Never skip a meal. And eating 6 small meals a day is a good way to keep your metabolism high.
6) Maintaining a food journal is a good idea. This way one can keep in track of all the food eaten.
7) The first step towards healthy eating starts in the mind. So train your mind to start wanting healthier foods.
8) Drink plenty of water. Water helps your body to flush out the toxins and aid weight loss.
9) Exercise is a great idea. Being involved in some amount of moderate physical activity will prove to be good in the long run. However, remember to chose a physical activity that you will enjoy and do not do the things that you will not like eventually. You can choose running, dancing, swimming, yoga, hiking or even scuba diving as your activity of choice.
10) Make a promise to yourself that you will start to live healthily and eat healthily and stick to it.
The Final Word on Rachel Ray Non- Diet
For starters, it can be done by anyone, except that one has to be more aware of what one is eating. In conclusion, there is nothing like healthy eating, coupled with exercise that will keep you in good shape.
