Pumpkin face mask is one of the best vegetable-based masks for skin. And the best thing is that autumn is not the only when you can get benefits from this vegetable. We can always use canned pumpkin puree as a facial mask. You can also mix canned pumpkin with other ingredients like eggs, honey, papaya, milk and apples to get maximum benefits.
Pumpkin is rich in enzymes and Vitamin A, which is considered very effective to nourish the skin and brighten the skin complexion.
Below mentioned are the best pumpkin face mask that can be made by mixing various other ingredients with pumpkin.
Egg, Milk and Pumpkin face Mask
In a bowl, empty a 15 oz. can of pumpkin puree and 1 beaten egg. Mix well. Then, wash, peel and mash papaya. Also, make sure to discard the pumpkin seeds. This will give you around 2/3 cup of pulp. Add the pulp into the pumpkin-egg mixture and stir well. Stir well to reduce the lumps. You can even use a blender or food processor to get extra smooth mixture.
Apply the paste onto clean face and neck. Leave the mask on the skin for 20 minutes. Rinse off using warm water and wipe with clean cloth.
Apples, Honey, Milk and Pumpkin Face Mask
Wash, peel and slice the fresh pumpkin into small size pieces. Them, add a properly peeled, cored and sliced apple. Now, use a blender or food processor to puree the fruits and get a smooth paste. Mix about 1 tbsp. honey and 2 tbsp. powdered milk in the smooth fruit paste. Mix well until you get rich texture and thick consistency.
Now, clean your face and neck and then apply the paste onto your skin. Then, relax for just about 15 minutes. Rinse off the pumpkin face mask with warm water and use a clean cloth to wipe.
