The Beckhams spend their New Year in Wine Country.

New year is not just a time for resolutions and parties... it is also the time to spend with family and loved ones. What better way of doing this than taking off to some exotic locales? That is exactly what star footballer David Beckham and his wife, former Spice Girl and Marc Jacobs poster girl, Victoria did.

Luxury Redefined

The couple jet off to the Napa valley in California, along with celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey and his wife Tana. The troupe was also accompanied by Heidi Klum and Seal. According to the Sun, Becks and Posh spend the night at Auberge du Soleil and this Napa Valley trip will cost about 3,200 pounds for a family per night at the luxurious hotel. The hotel has Mediterranean inspired decor, and every room has toasters and espressos machines. The hotel also has a 7,000 sq ft spa and a tortes au chocolat, artisan chocolates made by the executive pastry chef which guests can buy on-demand with 24-hours notice.

And as this is the wine county, the Beckham's sure paid a visiting to the most important places. It seems they promised each other that they would have their own wine one day and today the Beckham's own a vineyard, which was a 2008 birthday gift to Victoria from Beckham.

According to GrubStreet.com, the couple is a regular visitor at their vineyard. It seems in November, the couple with their kids visited the Napa Valley and ate at a highly fancy resort which had a posh eatery. The place was called Meadowood, and the restaurant there is a Michelin starred one, run by Chef Christopher Kostow.

Despite his much publisised financial troubles, Chef Ramsay, 44, organised the three-day bash as they all wanted to go on a luxurious holiday together... such is some great friendship!
