PETA names London "Best City for Vegetarians"
PETA has christened London the best City for vegetarians. PETA chose London for this title over New York, Mumbai , Los Angeles and Melbourne!!! Coincidentaly on the same day, Sir Paul McCartney launched a new PETA campaign in London exposing the meat industry.
London boasts variant vegan dish choices, rampant vegan restaurants and a vast presence of meatless ethnic cuisine!! Also all the restaurants and even steakhouses promote Vegan options with a V on their menus and labels!! I guess that was reason enough to give them the title but again I wonder why they dint see this report about how London wastes almost 20 billion $ worth of food every year!!! Mayor Boris Johnson was pleased to receive the title for Londona
and also commented that they are trying to further " cultivate a taste
for all veggie by supporting green-fingered efforts by all Londoners to
grow their own fresh fruit and veg.'' What can i say,..but Go London
go!!!
