Pepsi’s Darth Vader Cola Takes You To 'The Dark Side'
![]()
Japanese are totally freaking out right now because Pepsi has chosen their country to launch its first-even villainous cola, the ‘Darth Vader cola.’ This is actually a drink named ‘Pepsi Energy Cola’ with the image of the Star Wars villain on the can. But Japanese are already touting it as the Darth Vader drink.
Before you head to the nearest supermarket with dollars in your pocket, be informed that this drink is presently available only in Japan and has been created by the Japanese company Suntory.
Since being nerd is in fashion these days, people are ready to give their all to the dark side, which in this case, is the Pepsi Energy Cola. The drink is made with all sorts of ingredients, which may not appeal to the Western palate but are a hit with the Japanese crowd. It has ginseng, guarana extract, caffeine (not really weird, we agree), royal jelly extract, etc. Doesn’t sound so appealing now, right?
Pepsi has been opening the floodgates of its experimental creations at Japanese, with the company’s fat-blocking drink and the Pepsi White already doing the rounds. For now, it seems the dark side is going to rule for a while!
So, do you want to travel to the dark side in Japan?
