If you are into cooking a must stop is at the fabuluous chef's store E.Dehillerin 18 et 20 rue Coquillière, París 75001, Francia Telf.: 33 1 42 36 53 13 Fax: 33 1 42 36 54 80 http://www.e-dehillerin.fr/en/index.php Open on mondays from 9 to 12.30 and from 14 to 18 and on tuesdays to saturdays from 9 to 18. Closed on sundays and off-days. Plan accordingly as the hours are funky! Be sure and visit the downstairs, as ell as the kinfe area, passtiere areas, amazing place. They have a copper hammered Confecture pan that is amamzing. I use it to make caranitas in, any candie, jams and such it is perfect. Their serated paring knives are so good our daughter byts them by the dozen for gifts to friends. This is always a must hop spot o my Paris visits. Ask them about the Pocelaine shop just a cople blck aways-great for many special servware items from Aplico white ware to the mustard couloure condiment items with olives on them, to really fine porcelaine. Now restaurants: I really like the seafood charcouterrie across the street from e.Dehillerins. Awesome raw towers. They serve a wonderful Viognier. You will fall in love with the French Viognier and quickly ask yourself how California vitners call that overly oaky stuff they bottle a Viognier. Some of the best and mos affordable eats in Paris are in the Marais district - great Moroccan cuisine. There are always lins are the good spots! These are quite nice http://www.paris-eating.com/1236.htm http://www.paris-eating.com/249.htm For a great steak this is fun http://www.paris-eating.com/656.htm Le Cing is a great French expierence restaurant with great food, not inexpensive but nothing iswhen dealing with the Euro. For an amazing special eveing-Guy avoy's hey he taught Ramsey Gordon how to cook! http://www.paris-eating.com/299.htm http://www.paris-eating.com/309.htm Not knowing if this is a business trip i.e. who is picking up the tab I hesitate to make some suggestions as fine Paris dinning is VERY pricey.
