The Panama City Beach Seafood Festival is certainly not one to be missed. Held in Panama City, Florida each year in mid-October; this event attracts thousands of people. There are a plethora of craft booths, carnival rides, concerts and various local food choices. The event lasts for three days, but even if you just go for one day, there are a few things one ought to know about this festival.

Ticket Prices

The festival tickets are usually $25 per person per day and you can often find discounted tickets online. Make sure you can attend on the scheduled day, since your tickets will be no good for a different day. In case you are not sure of your plans, it is best to buy tickets at the door. 3 day passes are available as well.

Entertainment

There will be concerts by popular '70s and '80s groups, country singers, jazz, reggae, and blues. So make sure you find out what concerts are scheduled. If you do not have a fondness for which day you attend, find out who is playing when so you can go on a day that features a group you are interested in hearing.

There will be Grand Wine Tastings from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm daily with wine and beer being served all day and night.

If you are visiting with kids, the family fun events are from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm Saturday and Sunday which will include balloon art, clowns, stilt walkers, family yoga and gymnastics show.

For the foodies, don’t miss the celebrity chef exhibition from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm daily. Local chefs will be preparing their signature dishes in the exhibition kitchen built on site.  Apart from the chef exhibition there will also be twenty food vendors that will feature seafood and other festival favorites.

There will be a multitude of art and craft vendors with plenty of handicrafts and locally made products for sale. Over a 100 vendors have been known to set up stalls at the Panama City Seafood Festival in the past.

There is also a classic car show with more than 50 beautiful cars on display. This is going to be a real treat for all the car lovers out there.

As you can see, the Panama City Beach Seafood festival is truly exceptional in every way. There is something going on for everybody and you regret attending this event for even a second.
