A new ray of hope for those fighting the deadly cancer. Now a broccoli to fight off cancer, yes this is a new kind of broccoli developed by scientists which will be more powerful than the existing drugs used in the treatment of cancer.  This cancer-fighting broccoli contains double chemical components than normal broccoli that we eat to keep cancers away. Sulforaphane – is the cancer fighting chemical found in broccoli, it restrains growth of cancer cells forming tumors. And this cancer fighting broccoli can also fight with heart diseases which could be another breakthrough for scientists.

The new cancer-fighting broccoli has been cultivated from a wild Italian broccoli after a research of 26 years. The original wild broccoli is normally bred and developed into a new cancer fighting vegetable. It’s as natural as our regular broccoli because it is not genetically engineered.

Broccoli that we normally eat contains indole-3 carbinol, this chemical component prevents occurrence of breast cancer in women and is a recommended food for fighting breast cancer to some extent. It also contains other chemicals that help to prevent some other forms of cancer. The enzymes contained in broccoli, aid in fighting cancer by destroying free radicals as well as carcinogenic substances formed in the body.

We will have to wait for another 3 years to see how scientists use this new cancer fighting broccoli in patients suffering from the deadly tumors.
