New year party ideas for the budgeted New Year eve is just a few hours away, here are certain ideas for the tight budgeted, that can cut down the celebration cost quite a lot, and yet give you ample reasons to enjoy. Say cheers and embrace the New Year the way you want to.

1.Make the invitation way informal this time; as many of us would choose to welcome the year with our own near and dear ones. Try being a little tech-savvy rather than clinging on to the age-old tradition of inviting. Use short message services in your mobile phone, send message in group chat, compose email or scribble on the facebook wall.

2. Decoration, this is where you can save a lot by being a little creative. Make your home the venue, more precisely, your backyard, open terrace etc, where there is ample space to utilize and not much necessity for decoration. Make the new year cut-outs yourself, along with conical hats. If required call in a few of your good peers well in advance to help arrange for the party decors and fun knick-knacks!

3. Music, a professional DJ is a waste when you have a home DJ; yes, I am referring to New year party ideas for the budgeted

your cool collection of music in your ipods or mp3s. Wire them up to the laptops, connect the speakers and try if you can manage an amplifier, real cheap, or from any of your neighbors or friends, if not chuck it, your laptop should itself do a great job!

Even if you have a decent home bar, ask your peers to bring in a bottle each to add on to the fun. This will mean variety and also chipping in can relieve the burden off your back a lot. Apply the same rule to the party menu; ready with your own decent menu, but asking your friends to bring in theirs’ will not only make the menu lengthy, but will also add in variety and encourage participation from the invitees.
