New Soy Cereal fights Cancer and Obesity!
A new soy cereal has been developed at the University of Illinois that is cinnamon-flavored and fights obesity and cancer. For those who think soy products rocks…. High five!! We proved the meat eaters wrong yet again… take that, meat eaters!
The cancer and obesity fighting soy cereal has been developed by Soo-Yeun Lee, a professor of food science and nutrition. This newly developed soy cereal has less sugar and more protein (10 grams) and fiber (5 grams) for each standard serving and can be served as breakfast.
Not only is soy protein the best available protein that you can ever have but it also has health benefits like lowering levels of cholesterol and cutting the risk of breast and prostate cancer.
Soy protein fights obesity and as most of us already know protein replaces fat in your body and so you can loose weight by a balanced diet rich in soy protein.
Soy also contains isoflavones, plant hormones, which is believed to offer protection against osteoporosis and some types cancers. So keep your fingers crossed as this product is expected to the hit the shelves soon!
