New Moms, You’re In No Hurry To Shed Weight!
Margaret delivered a baby boy 4 weeks ago. I have heard about post-pregnancy obesity issue and now I am witnessing it. I can’t believe my eyes when I visited Margaret the other day at her place – by GOD she has grown huge. She was this perfect fitness freak and our college boys used to drool at every sight of hers. But now, things have changed and she’s become a big blotted mummy, after putting on 6-15 ponds after her delivery.
I asked her why shouldn’t she do something to shed the excess pounds – it seems like it worries me more than what it does for her! I remember, Jancy when she delivered her first baby, was back to her normal vital statistics barely within 3 weeks time, although it was least expected out her.
I spoke to Margaret about it and that was a revelation sort. It seems her doc insisted on losing weight gradually, rather than overdoing her exercises and eating habits. It seems it has a lot to do with new mom’s body adjusting to its new role. Is that so? Yes, I remember reading the same in a recent publication.
So that was indeed news for me, and think was the same for you guys too! So any new moms reading this, you are in no hurry to lose weight. Take by baby step and gently, you'll be in shape soon!
