My Thanksgiving Menu!
Thanksgiving is around the corner and I know everyone is busy trying to organize and plan the thanksgiving dinner. The most confusing process is obviously settling on the Thanksgiving menu. There are so many dishes and variants of traditional dishes nowadays that one wonders what happened to the days it was about the Stuffed Turkey!!

This year I have decided to prepare a simple Thanksgiving spread, no trills or frills! Here is my Thanksgiving menu plan:
Thanksgiving Soup - Butternut Squash Soup
Since the Main Course is going to be quiet heavy, I have decided to go for a comparatively subtle and light soup. The Butter nut Squash soup is apt also because it will definitely prepare my guests taste buds to receive the rest of the spread with enthusiasm.

Thanksgiving Main Dish - Thanksgiving Turkey
What would thanksgiving be without a well prepared roast, turkey stuffed with some homemade filling !!! This is one of those recipes that I came upon a long time ago and have fallen in love with.

Thanksgiving Rice
A casserole of well flavored Broccoli rice adds to the elegance of this spread. I love broccoli rice, so I am quiet sure no one will be surprised by this addition to the Thanksgiving spread.

Thanksgiving Side Dish 1- Mashed Potatoes
How can one forget yummy and seasoned Mashed potato. I prefer the classic pepper seasoned mashed potato, though there are other variants that you can try.

Thanksgiving Side Dish 2- Stuffed Potatoes
Another side dish I have planned on adding is the Shrimp Stuffed Potatoes!!! I served this wonderful dish just a few days ago and I had decided the moment I tasted this yummy dish that i will serve it for Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving Salad- Sweet Potato and Raisin Salad
The Sweet Potato and Raisin Salad is originally a Moroccan salad. It goes extremely well with the dishes and adds an element of sweetness to the Thanksgiving spread.

Thanksgiving Cranberry Relish
My Thanksgiving spread will be incomplete without the Cranberry relish, a delectable pot purri of flavors!

Thanksgiving Dessert - Traditional Pecan Pie
Finally, I intend to wrap it all up very sweetly with some yummy Traditional Pecan Pie with bourbourn flavored whipped cream!
If you want your Thanksgiving dinner to be a success and not a mess, plan your Thanksgiving menu right now. As you can see, I have planned mine and I just can’t wait to put out my spread and see how my family reacts!!! Enjoy..Happy Advanced Thanksgiving!
