See the trailer of the upcoming show episode

Gordon Ramsey's Popular food show, Kitchen Nightmares, will have a full episode on Chef Vikas Khanna's famous modern indian cooking restaurant, Purnima (known as Dillons at the time of the shoot and Chef Vikas was not yet working there), New York City. The program will air on Fox at 9 pm in sept 26, 2007.

This will be one helluva episode as gordon exposes the problems in the kitchen and then gives the whole place a facelift and a complete turn around (I just ate some spectacular Tandoori Chicken Stuffed with Spinach and Figs at Purnima 2 nights ago! ). This will be a cracker!

Waiting to see what you foodies think about it. And yes dont miss the chance to see chef vikas on this exciting behind the scenes look into the restaurant kitchen.

The shoot at Purnima was not without its controversies though. The Former manager of the place, sued Gordon Ramsey for Fabricating some of the excesses (stale meat) etc to be shown in the episode. See these news stories

You guys decide what is the real deal? My verdict is clear, I love the food at this place! Perhaps it was Gordon's Turnaround - perhaps it was not. I believe it was the new Chef Vikas's culinary skills after Dillons became Purnima (the sunrise) that the same place is now an epitome of modern indian cooking!

I have a question and I hope you can answer it to me. Why do all the large restaurants choose Sears parts for their kitchens? Do you think Sears has a contract with them? I know they offer an extended warranty for restaurants.
