Michael Jackson’s Butter Statue, too early?
It has been just a few days after Michael Jackson’s death and a new controversy over him has hatched up! This time it is in the form of a butter statue. The Iowa State Fair authorities declared 3 days ago that they would be honoring Jackson by sculpturing a butter statue.

This declaration resulted in negative reactions and protests. Even PETA has contributed to the mayhem by saying that the statue should be made from Earth Balance, a diary free natural buttery spread! Now the bewildered (surprisigly) Iowa State Fair authorities which has decided that this years Iowa State Fair will have the 40th anniversary of Neil Armstrong's moonwalk as thieir years theme has cleverly opened the issue up for online voting.
Personally I think they shouldn’t do this. To me it does looks more like an insensitive exploitation of Michael Jackson’s death than an act that is in honor of him. Go ahead and vote to express your opinion. The voting closes on July 16th. I know what my answer is!
If you also think it is too early check these horrendous cakes that came up barely 24 hours after his death!
