A fooder with an eating disorder is unbelievable! But Cindy Gershen a long time bulimic is a successful fooder. The owner of four thriving food businesses in the San Francisco Bay area, this 52 year old with a strong history of an eating disorder, amazes me when she says that staying close to your enemy is the key to success. In her own words, "Keep the enemy close."

This restaurateur feels that the remedy to cure your eating disorder is to stay in the vicinity of the very thing that causes it and then control your temptation for that. The bulimic tendency of excessive binging on food is something that is hard to do when food is around in plenty, but this fooder seems to have overcome that problem with self control. Maybe this is something that she learnt from Food Addicts in Recovery Anonymous, the only program that helped her recover from her disorder. Curing any disease is a mind matter after all.
