McDonald's Ronald will not be further seen in latest McDonald’s commercials McDonald’s Ronald is a very well known figure to all of us, but alas a Ronald sidelines is the latest news on block. Now we won’t be able to see McDonald’s Ronald munching salads or playing football. In its image changeover process, McDonald has sidelined Ronald who was associated with it since last 48 years. Although, Ronald will remain the brand ambassador of McDonald, he will not be any more associated with the McDonald’s menu. A Ronald sidelines is basically due to its lost appeal among consumers. Ronald’s fame has been taken over by the dancers and budding singers who are seen promoting frappes and mochas. Ronald was associated with Happy Meals which are not in high demand now-a-days.

Increasing obesity especially among US kids was becoming an issue of concern. McDonalds Happy Meals and other fast food products like burgers were declared as high fat content foods by various experts. So, McDonald decided to distance itself from this fast food promotion and it brought a radical change in its menu by advertising fruit smoothies and showcasing its WiFi enabled restaurant where customers can enjoy padded seats.

This makeover no doubt earned back the reputation of McDonald and its revenue again started booming with the increase in sale of McCafe coffee. Amidst all these makeover process, McDonald decided on Ronald sidelines. The reason behind this sideline was very simple as people use to identify Ronald with Happy Meals and other fast foods which were declared unhealthy by nutritionists across the U.S and world. McDonald’s Ronald has become a symbol of high-fat foods and as per today’s demand McDonald is keener on selling coffee instead of burgers, so McDonald’s Ronald was replaced with singers and dancers.

You will now see budding stars like Suzanne Cleary and Peter Harding in the McCafe commercials. According to McDonald, Ronald represents the old face of this fast-food chain and is often remembered as picnicking and distributing Happy Meals Toys. So, McDonald decided to advertise its latest McCafe and frappes with some fresh face like R&B singer Bryson “Cupid” Bernard. But fans of Ronald, don’t worry, you can find him somewhere celebrating kids’ birthday or attending school assemblies.

Many changes are made to surge the sales figure of a company, Ronald sidelines, being one of them. No doubt, even today McDonald is number one company in selling fast food products. In addition, it’s good that McDonald has moved from fat burgers to fruit smoothies, but we will certainly miss our Ronald who was with us since 1966.
